Qurban Nepal 2022
Nepal is a Republican country. Its capital is Kathmandhu. Majority of the population is Hindu. Only 4.4% of Nepal’s population is Muslim.
A program was launched this year by MyGuide Malaysia, with Nepal being the first participant. This program was carried out to help Muslims who poor and those who have just been affected by the flood disaster.
432 Families have received the meat of the sacrifice
A cumulative sum of 119 submissions were accepted, of which 17 buffaloes were allocated. In the district of Siraha, 432 households residing in three villages were distributed the sacrificial meat.
The recipients of the sacrificial meat are among the poor and also flood victims.
Collboration with HeSRA
The slaughtering and distribution operations were conducted in collaboration with the Health Services and Relief Association (HeSRA), Nepal, the implementing partner of MyGuide Malaysia.
