Iftar Amal Perdana Hidayahku 2026

An Evening That Reminded Us Why Dakwah Matters There are some nights that stay with you long after they end, 1 March 2026 was one of those nights. At Dewan Sri Iskandar, people from different walks of life gathered for Iftar Amal Perdana: Hidayahku, organised by MyGuide Malaysia. Some came as supporters, some as volunteers, some simply curious. But by the end of the evening, everyone left with the same feeling in their hearts, that dakwah is something we all share responsibility for. The program opened with a powerful reminder of why this work matters. Dakwah is not just about speeches or programs. It is about people. It is about hearts. It is about bringing light to places where guidance is still searching for a path. The panel session brought meaningful reflections from YB Marhamah Rosli, Badlishah Sham Baharin, and Haris Ismail. Each of them shared stories, reminders, and reflections about faith, service, and the quiet responsibility Muslims carry to extend compassion beyond their own circles. Yet what made the night truly special was not only the stage. It was the conversations happening at the tables, strangers making duʿa for people they had never met, the shared understanding that somewhere, in places far beyond Malaysia, there are communities still waiting to hear about Islam through kindness, patience, and sincerity. The evening was further filled with beautiful nasyeed from Inteam, whose performance reminded everyone of the spiritual calm that Ramadan brings, a moment to soften hearts and return to what truly matters but perhaps the most powerful thing about Hidayahku was the intention behind it. This gathering was never just about breaking fast together. It was about standing together for a mission, to support dakwah efforts across the Asia Pacific, where guidance sometimes reaches people through the smallest acts of care. Every presence that evening mattered, every contribution carried meaning, every prayer made quietly in someone’s heart was part of something bigger. As the night ended and people slowly made their way home, one thing became clear: dakwah is not the work of a few. It is the amanah of the ummah. And if that night proved anything, it is that when hearts come together for the sake of Allah, even a single gathering can carry ripples far beyond what we can see.
