Zakat, Waqf and Baitulmal Conference 2025

MyGuide Malaysia, in collaboration with the Japan Islamic Alliance (JIA), successfully organised the Zakat, Waqf and Baitulmal Conference which brought together experts, practitioners and relevant organisations to discuss best practices and governance in the management of Islamic social financial institutions.
The seminar focused on the sharing of experiences and implementation models from Malaysia and Indonesia, two countries with increasingly developed and internationally recognised zakat and waqf management systems.
Over the two-day programme, participants had the opportunity to:

Discuss issues of governance, transparency and distribution effectiveness

Strengthen collaborative networks among regional Islamic organisations
This seminar served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, thereby further strengthening the management of Zakat and Waqf to be more effective in supporting the development of the ummah.
